  • Welcome!

    I am Bec Bennet, creator of Cupcakes Photography based in Forbes, NSW.

    I am a fully accredited member of the AIPP and have been for over 7 years now.

    I specialize in custom and lifestyle newborn, child and family portraiture across Central West NSW and beyond, with a wedding or two thrown in for good measure.

Taking a new approach to newborn photography with Doc and his big sister Bobbie and I really love the results. I always like posed too but it’s great to just be free and photograph people just as they are at this very moment in their lives. Thanks for having me guys xx

Sarah, Kurt & Co.

I’ve been photographing/working for/friends with these guys for actual years. Wedding, babies, family. I’m so lucky…

That Max – what a funny guy. Elki is a complete turkey and Layla is growing up before my eyes. She’s such a sweet girl, ready for a laugh and to make her brother or sister laugh too. We had such a relaxed arvo on the river xx

Jacob & Kellie {Grenfell Wedding Photographer}

I could seriously write an entire page worth of words to recap the day with Jacob, Kellie, their daughter, Elsie, and their friends and family. But I’ll try to keep it short…*try*

Some people in life just ‘get’ you. Kellie has always gotten me. ALWAYS. And she brings Jacob along so he can ‘get’ me too (he so does), and now also Elsie. And I truly, truly feel privileged when people welcome me not only into their homes, but into their lives.┬áThe wedding isn’t the end of the circle here, I’ll be photographing these guys forever. They allow me to be free and they allow me to push in whatever direction I want to go in – and I allow them to suggest and direct too. It’s every photographers dream come true to work in this trust circle!

Amazing wedding. A M A Z I N G. Every. Single. Detail has been thought of here but it just flowed with ease, with the help of so many (and the help of our clipboards) (Hey not only did I have great instructions but I scored a brand new clipboard! Thanks Kel). The wedding party was also a dream, 20 people was something I had never done before but I feel like we pulled it together. I was assisted by the wonderful Grace who rose to the occasion and really got into the guts of it. Thank you Grace, you were a pleasure to shoot with and I so appreciate you!

Thank you isn’t enough for the way I feel about these people inviting me to share this with them. Weddings are so special to me and I have deep gratitude for Kellie and Jacob. Please enjoy their day. Ladies and Gentlemen… THE WARDS!! WHOOHOO!!

Rob and Tony – {Orange NSW Photographer}

What an honor to photograph the vow renewal of Rob and Tony in Orange a few weeks ago, surrounded with the love from their family and friends. They were married last year in Florida and were finally able to seal the deal in Australia! My beautiful friend Jo, from JG Images in Bathurst, assisted me and we had a fabulous day, truly.

It was magical and beautiful and intimate and open. I always love really listening to the vows, it’s so wonderful to hear their promises and commitment. We followed up with some photos of just Rob and Tony together after the ceremony then followed them to The Union Bank for a relaxing afternoon with friends, family, food and laughs.

Thank you for having us guys, a true blessing for Jo and I to be part of your day xx

Jay’s 60th – {Forbes and Eugowra Event Photography}

I was absolutely thrilled to photograph Jay’s 60th Birthday party late last year and it was such a wonderful event to be part of. Jay and his family are such warm, lovely people and the day went off without a hitch (careful planning!). Beautiful food, singing and a room full of great people.

Celebrating this amazing man were friends, family, classmates and colleagues and we hung onto his every words during speeches. Performances from his beautiful daughter, Diya, just brought the atmosphere alive.

Thank you so much for having me Jay and Sampa!
